Our History

Kolob Canyon Review is a literary journal for the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Southern Utah University. KCR is created through collaboration between the SUU English and Art Department. Formed by the hands of undergraduate student editors, designers, and faculty advisor it was originally known as Tailwind in the 1980's, and then as The Paunsagunt Review until 1996. The journal has evolved in recognition and prestige throughout its history, with past staff members including Christopher Nelson, founder of the online literary journal Under a Warm Green Linden and Tristen Fagg, proprietor of Thicker Ink Press.
